  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

  • 1 cup (240ml) reduced apple cider
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the nutmeg sugar coating:

  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients in one place.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. Cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the reduced apple cider, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined, then spread the batter into a prepared Bundt pan.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing it.
