Description

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars are a delightful treat that combines the rich, creamy texture of cheesecake with the sweet and tart flavors of fresh apples, topped with a gooey caramel drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 medium fresh apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and a pinch of salt in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool slightly.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Toss diced apples with ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  6. Fold the cinnamon-coated apples into the cheesecake mixture.
  7. Pour the cheesecake and apple mixture over the cooled crust and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares and drizzling with additional caramel sauce.
