A delicious Mocha Chocolate Chip Cake with a sweet cinnamon glaze, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 200 g (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 50 g (1/4 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 150 g (3/4 cup, packed) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 115 g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
- 120 ml (1/2 cup) strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) milk or cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 100 g (1/2 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
For the Cinnamon Glaze:
- 80 g (2/3 cup) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch round cake pan.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl.
- Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40–45 minutes.
- Prepare the cinnamon glaze while the cake is baking.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake before serving.

- Don’t overmix the batter to keep the cake light and fluffy.
