- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1/2 cup carrots, grated
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, honey, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined, then add cabbage, carrots, and cilantro. Mix until coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or on a grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble tacos by placing shrimp in tortillas and topping with creamy slaw. Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
