- 100 g (1/2 cup) brown sugar, packed
- 120 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the dates by chopping them and soaking in boiling water with baking soda for 10 minutes.
- Mix the batter by creaming together butter and brown sugar, then adding eggs and vanilla, followed by the dry ingredients.
- Bake the pudding by combining the soaked dates with the batter and pouring it into a baking dish, then baking at 175°C (350°F) for 30-35 minutes.
- Make the caramel sauce by melting butter, adding brown sugar, and then stirring in cream and vanilla until smooth.
